What is this site?

Kolasaar is an independent price comparison site for electronics (phones, laptops and tablets, TVs and monitors, refrigerators, air conditioners, microwaves, washing machines and ovens) priced above EGP 1000 in Egyptian stores, updated daily.

What we do

We read product prices from the stores' public pages, match the same product across stores, and show today's lowest price with its price history. We do not sell or ship anything; you buy directly from the store you choose.

Stores

We currently compare: Jumia, Amazon.eg and Noon. New stores are added only after we have their permission.

How we write the analysis

The verdict, pros list and 'things to check' on each product page are generated automatically from real data: published specifications, today's store prices and the 30-day price range. The buying guides on category pages are written by hand from reliable general knowledge (for example, the cooling capacity that suits a given room size). We do not test devices ourselves and never publish invented reviews; when a fact is unavailable we leave it out.

Independence

Stores cannot pay for a better position. Listings are always ordered by actual price and availability.
